Fleshy Facial Lesion in an 80-Year-Old Dayak Woman
REPORT OF A CASE
An 80-year-old Dayak (the indigenous people of Borneo) woman with hypertension and no other significant medical history presented with a 2-month history of an enlarging growth on her right cheek (Figure 1). She had no family history of any malignant neoplasms and no bleeding, itching, pain, or systemic symptoms.
Physical examination revealed a 1.5-cm-diameter, pink, multilobulated nodule with central cavitation and prominent telangiectasia. The lesion had rolled, pearly edges. No cervical lymph nodes were palpable. Skin biopsy findings are shown in Figure 2 and Figure 3.
